I find it a bit ugly but it could be the next GT-R

you know its the bottom one. and that is already on sale in the US, the G35. But what they are more then likely going to do is just change motor and suspension.

They're selling it as a G35 not a GT-R

U guys got it all wrong lol.

In Japan, they sell:
Nissan Skyline 350GT

In USA, it is the:
Infiniti G35.

http://press.nissan-global.com/JP/PHOTOGRAPHS/jp_sports.html (High Res pics of the Skyline)

In the US, where it says SKYLINE it says INFINITI and where it says 350GT in the Japan version, it says G35 here. The NISSAN logos were replaced by the INFINITI logo and thats it.

Note that GT-R is NEVER mentioned. That is because its NOT a GT-R. The GT-R will come out 2008 and it will be shown (final concept) in Japan show this october. The pictures you have there show the GT-R in disguise... It is a test mule... it wont look like that. They just test the engine on a G35 skin.

this is 90% complete so expect it to look like that instead.

In another thread, I posted a Photoshopped pic of what I wish it would look like...

DeMon's right. If Nissan made the G into a GT-R without changing the skin, it'd kill the name. That's just a mule.

i've got a silly question. so now the nissan skyline won't make a skyline GT-R anymore? than this GT-R is not a skyline anymore? why making different car for the same platform

They dont know if they will call it the Nissan or Infiniti Skyline. There was an article saying it was leaning on being a Nissan "unless the targeted marcket changes." From this, I understand that it will be a Nissan if it costs around 60k but it will be an Infiniti if they make it cost 80. That part of the info, and the 100% completed model, will be known October at the Japan autoshow.
