Hey everyone, New to the forums and thought I should get off on the right track and share something with all of you people.

Here are some pictures I took from a Mercedes W124 car meet. It was our first club meeting (One2Four) and I have to say the turn out was good and a lot of nice cars came out. Enough of the talking, here are the pictures. Hope they are good. Let me know what you think. hehe

yeckmohr, you're right! The W124 in my opinion was probably one of the best mercedes ever built. The built quality is superb and I never have any problems whatsoever. Just the fact it needs a tune up from some wear and tear being that the car is 15 years old is nothing.

I don't think Rust is a big issue among these cars, I believe it was more towards the older models such as the W123 or W126? but isn't it more of a problem over there in Germany?

Arman, I agree. The black 300CE is the best. My friend modded that one right. He's going for the AMG Hammer conversion replica and I must say, he's almost there.

500E. :shock: It has SL55 wheels, E55 brakes all around and insane amounts of power. I was lucky to be able to get a ride during the meet and I was really impressed.

Anyways, Just to let all of you know. My car is also in there, it's the white 300E with smoked headlights, corners. I'll post pictures of my ride in a different thread along with a custom shot of course. :D

lol. Actually, to my surprising most of the owners who came out weren't old at all. :) This isn't no Mercedes Benz Club of America. Now those guys are OLD! They just meet up and stand around talking about gibberish.

We already made a good turn out with about 12 people in the club so far. That's only in SoCal alone. I have a feeling this One2Four club is going to go somewhere. :)

Oh, about those taxi's and cop cars...those are awesome! You've seen the Bourne Supremacy right? lol the car chase. I loved that part. ;)

The Rust is abig problem in Germany, it rains half of the year and specially the W 210 have a big rust problem,becuase Mercedes didn't the paint in stuttgart, it was an other company and they sucked with the paint.

They have these big quality problems in the last time,my father drives a W 211 and this car is more in the workshop as at home.

Your W202 is beautiful! I actually thought about it one day and thought about selling my W124 for one of those. I always liked them and believe I always will. Maybe one of these days. I like the color. Do you plan on taking it to the next level and modding it?

I agree with the older models, the quality just doesn't compare to what they had say...10 years ago give or take. Which is the main reason why I love the older model mercedes. I hear so many problems with the new one now in days and it makes me sick. :(

E500 was the most exciting mercedes in recent times, a new E55 will smoke it, but has not the poise or looks in my opinion, plus at that time it was king of the hill, with an M5 sporting a straight-6, this V8 tunned by porsche, was cream of the crop and still looks awesome today, thanks for these beautiful pictures

This normal Mercedes W 202 look good in that condition.

If you are a modding fan,take one of these japanese cars.

I lowered it 30mm with H&R springs.
When i will go really fast,i can drive with a porsche from my firend,who works at porsche.Look at my other posts in this section from the Driftchallenge,there you see modded mercedes or you see my weekend tour with a 997S.

In Germany you see only normal mercedes,it's like a status symbol.
But many people here say when only older people drive Mercedes anyway i know how good my Merc drives on the "Autobahn". I did 250 km/h ( 155mph )on the Autobahn on Sunday,it's legal you know and my merc is restricted at 250 km/h. At 250 km/h it's normal in this car like beeing on the beach on summer.

True, the stock W202 looks great as it is right now. Especially yours!

My mercedes is also lowered. I'm currently running Vogtland 40mm or 60mm springs (I can't remember, but it lowered about 2 inches all around and I don't know the conversion to inches-mm) and Bilstein Sport shocks. Are you still using stock shocks? I was going to go with H&R's but I found them to be too rough for daily driving. I found Vogtlands to be the best pair with the shocks and for daily driving.

I wish I could hit the Autobahn, the fast I did in my car was 130mph and I bet I could of done more.

I have these H&R springs with stock shocks,it's not too hard.

MAy i introduce my dad with his E 320 CDI,these new diesel cars are very fast,it has 500 Nm Torque.

Go and buy a W 202, it's a right decision,but take only a V6.
I have a handshifted car,okay it's not the best gearbox,but the quality is better than automatic gearbox.After 12000km many people in Germany among my friends have problems with the gearbox and they had to buy an new one,it's not cheap.

I have this car since 3 years and it's form 1998,the only problem i had was the climate kompressor - that was about 1200 $.
