The 2nd Miura Reunion will be held at Concorso Italiano in August of 2005 in Monterey, California in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Miura. The first historic event in 2000 saw a record gathering of Miuras in attendance, and examples of the P400, P400S and P400SV are expected yet again. Under the guidance of Concorso Italiano's Chief Judge Gary Bobileff (who happens to be a world renowned Miura specialist & restorer) and Lamborghini Club of America long-term President Jim Heady, the 2005 event promises to be quite exciting with the Miuras scheduled to make a CHP-escorted run up Pacific Coast Highway, culminating with a mid-morning entrance at Concorso Italiano. Concorso Italiano owner-organiser Jack Wadsworth said on December 22nd 2004 "Ive wanted to have the Miuras at my event for some time now, and it seems especially appropriate to have them on the 40th anniversary of the model.
