Sainz will replace Francois Duval on the Rally of Turkey. After Duval splitted up with his co-driver after crashing out the rally of cyprus, Citroen needed a replacement. Sainz will only return for the rally of Turkey as a favour to the citroen team. For the long term they will take Duval back when he finds a new co-driver, or replace him when he doesn't. Lets look forward to the return of el matador!

.....Why haven´t they asked Manfred Stohl :( ? Second place in cyprus as a driver in a privat team. I was screaming when I saw the eurosport coverage.

My dad is Austrian and he had the same reaction to you when he heard the news :D There will be a 1hr highlights show of that rally on TV this Sunday so he can excited all over again :P

It depends everything between the agreements between OMV and Total...i mean, if the both companies are direct rivals, they dont have any agreement at all and they work in the same segments, Stohl has nothing to do about the Citroen contraction unless he decides to break agreement with OMV (however, the Stohl family owe a lot to OMV since that company has been faithful not only with Manfred, also with Rudy, his father, for twelve years all together) at least

that dani_d_mas states that Dani Sola or Dani Sordo are strong candidates according to the spanish media......(very crap and manipulating IMO) its quite unlikely IMO since one of the citroens preferences is the WRCs Constructor Classification, and I see other strong and experiences candidates as a result; such as Simon Jean Joseph, Brice Tirabassi (apart from being experienced, the first of them is from Martinique, a french colony and the second one is french) alongside other drivers such as Chris Meeke and so on.....see what happens anyway
