Seems that you didn't do any fishing, you're dead to me now.

Seriously though, why weren't you fishing?

Looks like fun though.

yeah I realized I didn't get any pics of it until it was too late but hopefully I 'll be going back out again this week or next.
It realy is an amazing boat.
You're right though it's almost totally silent just the wind in the sails and the ropes slaping around.

EDIT: Actually funny story if any of you have been sailing before you know it's a different feeling than a power boat like when the boat is leaning at like 20-30 degrees, well one guy that came out had never been on a boat at all let alone a sailboat and we were hitting 8.5 knots leaning way over and he just had himself braced up in the walkway down to the galley holding on for dear life as we are just standing there and walking around, when we got back to the pier he almost fell over getting back on land he was soo not used to the whole sailing.

i grew up a sailor... even did some small competitions around petoskey and charlevoix... a acutally used to live up there for quite a few years :)

definately something ill be taking pictures of later this summer :-D

being that T-bird is from chicago... if he were to make it to michigan waters, i would guess not much further north then south haven, or grand haven... just a guess

we only went about an hour out so we didn't get over to Michigan but I have been in a power boat a few times from Lake Forest to South Haven (We have a family house there) they are 2 very different places.

Oh ok. Since you live on that side of Lake Michigan, have you ever been to coast of wisconsin? I heard theres nothing there but im curious. My family and i usually go up to the north channel around Killarney. Its nice up there but absolutely nothing. We were also thinking of going to Chicago but I heard that people get robbed in the harbor...which im pretty sure isn't true but my dad doesn't.

dude you won't get robbed in the Harbor in Downtown Chicago this isn't really that kind of city where you have to hide everything you own. yes there is crime just like every other city in the world. the Harbor's are well protected. And yes Wisconsin is pretty much descolate outside of the the cities it's all farms to the south and forest to the north, It's really a nice place up north great for paintballing  I'm not too sure about the shoreline though I'm sure up near Green Bay it's pretty well developed along the lake.
I didn't mention it before but the shoreline pics I took were of the Great Lakes Naval Accademy/base, it's the only Navy Training facility left besides the Naval Accademy which is quite different.
