like your picks
Cream, best band to last 2 years or so, and they broke up because of a bad review in Rolling stone mag.
You don't like Band of Gyp.? I like them live better then the experience, yet they did have mitchell playing with them @ woodstock, but the all back trio was jimi's idea so I guess mitchell had to go 8)

Well I just can't pick a band to be the top, to many diff. styles, heck zeppelin had a diff. sound on each album, so they are you there on their own, so here is my list..

top bands in no order...
Led Zeppelin
Black Sabbath (1970-1980)
Iron Maiden (1980-1993)
Cream
Yardbirds (Clapton, Beck and Page)
Deep Purple
Jimi Hendrix (all his bands after 1966)

Alot of rock fans here it seems - I used to like it when I was a teenager but seem to have grown out of it for some reason :?
My favourites currently are:

* Jack Johnson
* John Butler Trio (Aussie band, although Butler himself is American)
* Dave Mann Collective (Aussie again)
* Tammin Sursok, Bec Cartwright, Holly Valance (non of them can sing but they are hot so they are excused :P )

I listen to a lot of music styles and I like almost evrything except pop music that is too commercial and done in the intention to do money. I like especialy Iron Maiden because their songs are longs and have differents melodies in it. In evry song there's a guitar solo of at least one minute. I also like Guns N'Roses because their songs are at the perfect balance between soft and hardcore.
