Here in the UK speed cameras are a revenue only thing
I could type a massive response on the issue but it would only make me madder :)

same here as well, i mean i really don't mind if they use speed cameras but the fact that the money gained isn't used on improving the roads or provide better road education. the money just ends up in politicians fat greedy pocket and thats just pisses me off.
