HI everyone, just signed up. Great site. Here are a few pics of my 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI. Not much work done to it yet. Getting a custom exhaust fitted next week. Hope you like

Are you getting a turbo back exhuast? a new dump pipe would really unleash some power on that machine mate.

Yup all new dump pipe , full 3" system. Should really give it a good kick in the pants. Ill post some more pics soon. Thanks for all the comments.

Haha, they love cars so much they never sleep. :)

Not sure what increase in power I will get, i think it will just spool up quicker. Evos arent known for giving big noise like say a WRX, but lets hope it rounds off an already kick ass car :P

Hahaha thats true. I will have my 3" turbo back exhaust installed this weekend, i cant wait. I already give WRX drivers hell in it. They think its a standard celica, not knowing there rally history. I got a Group A Rallye Gt-four, nearly finished project.

Its white also, if you are up for a photoshoot dude, send me PM, i will gladly photograph your machine. Or a group shot with mine.

Hi all

Sorry for taking so long, i did some vids today, not great quality, just used a digital camera from work that can record video and sound.

One is the EVO6 going past my place, and the others just on the return trip down the hill pulling in. I'm going to grab a video camera before XMAS to use on holidays then ill do some decent ones, hopefully at the track with some of the other EVO guys I talk to :D

The power seems to be alot more constant in the higher range. Where as before it would drop off, it just keeps pulling and pulling. Seems like it wants to goto redline and just keep on going. The same goes with the HKS RS kit, the noise it makes inside the car is great, you can hear it outside as well, but not with that crappy camera we used. It gave the car alot smoother power and more pull.

Next upgrade is ECU :twisted:

Just been doing these little support upgrades, exhaust, filter, plugs, etc before I do the ECU.

congratulation for your ride. I agree that series V and VI are IMO the best of all the Evos... It looks so agressive :twisted:

By the way did paint the right rear door at one point because in the first picture of this page the back door color don't match the front door it looks a bit yellowish maybe it's just the sun but I had to ask,., :mrgreen:

Id say it would be the sun, as the pics are taken just before the sun is setting. You can see a shadow between the door joins. Cars never been resprayed (but it does need a good wash haha). Thanks for the comments everone :)

Yeah its great, just drive up the highway about 30-40mins from my place and they have pine forests yuo can go into and just open it up along a sand/gravel type road. The car handles so well, you really need to experience it to feel the control these cars have.

Couple of mates and I that are also EVO owners go up sometimes and use these cars for what they are made for :)

Thanks for the comments everyone. I just got my new ECU and it should arrive next week. I had the car put on the dyno last week. Dyno sheet photo below. Not a bad result for a stock car with exhaust and HKS RS kit installed. Id take a guess and say over 200 atw once the new ECU is in.

Not a bad effort there in 4th gear mate. You are also running a fair bit of boost too :shock:

I got 112.5kw At all four wheels running 5/6Psi on mine, 4th gear on shootout mode, completley stock then.

What ECU did you order?

Im pretty sure i spotted your car, it was parked under the QTAC building at Milton?
