Well, today it happened this:

he just signed my AA Miura and he is standing beside my car as you can see :D
Expect a HUGE Lambo update on my website later!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it was a special day at the Affolter garage (3rd biggest Lamno dealership in the world AFAIK).. you can call it "open doors day".. mainly for customers to see the new stuff they offer.. but I was informed about it and had to go! And since I knew Valentino would be there to take customers out in a Gallardo, I took the Miura and marker with me!
he was so nice with me and was very happy to make me happy! :D

Well, if we don't consider Ferruccio Lamborghini for a second, Valentino IS the Lambo face IMO! For sure now that Audi took over he is what remains of the good old days! He is a living icon, to be there shaking hands with him was something unbelievable :shock:

LOL, with Mr. Lamborghini beaing dead and all, I'd say Balboni IS Lamborghini. If I had to put a face on Lambo, it would be Balboni everytime!

I really like the color on it too, that shade of brown.
Actually he noticed it and took the shirt inside before closing the door ;)
And yes, you are right, Lamborghini for me has two faces: Ferruccio's and Valentino's. Once Valentino will retire, the Audi transormation will be complete, and not much will be left from the "pure" days IMO! That said, modern Lambos are still cool cars :D

Yes, around here to buy a Mustang you need to go to a Lambo dealership :D and it is not the regular car any 16 yo guy will own :P it's an exotic you can see maybe twice a month on the road :D

As said also in the other topic, his contract was to take customers around for passenger rides, nothing more. And he never had a spare 5 minutes as far as I saw!

if you are talking about the second day, you will have to wait a couple of days.. today and tomorrow I will have to edit Porsche pics from a local meeting, and only afterward I will post the second Lambo's day ;) but they will have the priority on the regular updates of course

I remember him nearly making Clarkson sick in a Diablo, and he was a very impressive driver.
But, my, has he aged! He looks far older now, but will still be a legend... look after that model Muira :D
Well he IS older, I don't have his birth year on top of my head and too lazy to check, but he joined Lambo in the late 60s, he should definitely be in his 60 now and you should have heard how he nailed that Gallardo on every outing :D
He still has petrol in his veins!
