i love the 360 it has the best roof, looks good up and down! and it is a propper convertable with a soft top and not a hard top. Its quick handels well and has a ferrari badge.

by popular demand SL55 AMG it is...can't edit the poll though...so its gotta stay SL500, but I guess everybody's gonna want SL55AMG, so people when voting, instead of SL500 think SL55AMG...no idea why I didn't put sl55amg in the first place

I would take a 1953 Corvette..I guess I would take a Ferrari 360 Spider out of that list.

u guys are all ferrari nuts... personally I dont really like any ferraris. I like very few super cars to tell the truth, so thats y i chose the M3 :D 2nd choices are the Caddy and the AMG SL55. Ferrari only beats the Massarati in my list.

It'd probably be the 360 Spyder for me. It's a fantastic looking convertable Though I am a huge porsche and BMW fan, neither of those cars look "that" good to me. They look better in coupe form (in my opinion at least).

PS (did anyone find the XLR really appealing? I love that picture of it!)

i really like the 360 modena, its a great car but the 360 spider is ok. comparing it to the sl is not a good comparison. the 360 is good for the track and maybe daily driving. lets say i want to go from england to france for a weekend, gee what would i pack. well let me tell you, in an SL you would have room a suitcase, a briefcase and 16 changes of clothing, that would be more than enough for a long weekend for you and a babe :D . now if i were to go in a 360 spider, hmmm gee, what would i pack. WELL LET ME TELL YOU :wink: , you would pack a toothbrush a condom and a fuckin tampon because that all you be able to fit in your pocket cuz THERE IS NO FUCKIN ROOM IN THAT CAR!!!!! :twisted:

and i know that on the road & track the 360 spider is the most fun and quicker than the SL but overal, come on, SL all the way.

whoever tried to justify the spider's rag top as being a true convertible then justify this, a fuckin bird shits on that rag top, then shits on an SL hardtop. which one will stain and be harder to clean, huh???

For the first time i have to choose not a ferrari ... The 360 modena is just great , but its controversial looks ...

I would choose the Sl55AMG , is a best buy ... but on the way to the Merc dealer , i would find a Ferrari dealer , enter and get it ...

I'm going to have to pick the Modena, the SL is a close second though. The exhaust note of a Modena with the sport exhaust is like an audible orgasm.

Is it just me or do you think that the lines of the M3 are ruined by teh soft top? I love the hard top but the convertable jsut dosnt do it for me. The SL is great, but wouldn't you rather save a little more and get a ferrari. But the main things is that the M3 is stuffed.

SL500 all the way - :lol: - What other car could you simply arrive, pick-up and drive home - feeling refreshed in?

Just got back from my ultimate road trip.

A friend of mine asked me to fly with him to Florida on Friday at lunch time to go fetch his new 2003 Sport package equipped SL500 - and help him drive it back to Houston.

Well - 17 hours 59 minutes, 1189 miles and 51 gallons of gas later we arrived in Houston - average trip speed, 67 miles per hour.

The SL500 is the ultimate long distance tourer - bar none!! It is the ULTIMATE people mover!

I suggest GM crush every XLR that comes off the production line to save face...

That is 17 hours TOTAL travel time - including potty breaks, gas stops and a couple nice long food stops.

I would take the sl55.. dont no why but that merc is just so appealing.. its quicker than a 575 and murcielago to 300kmh.. but that is besides the point.. Its an engineering marvel and I want it :twisted:
