I still remember someone trying to sell a glass of "Tsunami Water". :o
Here in Brazil we have thsi site thatīs just like ebay, and there was a this guy selling Jesus Christ bones.
Those two kids are going to do well in business, selling nothing for 116$. Still, I find the idea idiotic, not from the sellers side, but buyers.
That's what they said about the founders of Enron.
You can only sell nothing for so long - then it eventually catches up with you and you get caught.

Is it just me or does something like that devalue ebay as a whole. It is that sort of thing that brings them attention so they are not viewed as a reputable market for real goods. Just my opinion.

Why are you surprised? None of you probably ever visited Israel. Listen to what they sell to piligrims / tourists: a bottle of holy water (means, from Jordan river, yea, right), bottle of holy oil (cheapest olive oil available), holy earth (from under a cacus in public garden). these 30ml bottles sell for 5$ each. but wait, there is more: Holy Air, available in the same 30ml bottles or sometimes in larger 330cc cans. Same 5$
So don't be so surprised....

heh, that makes me laugh. As for the devaluing of ebay, this is EXACTLY why ebay does so well: You can buy the damned-ist shit (HAHA, get it?) there.
yeah...
...oooohhh... you have a devil of a sense of humour... ;)
