Ok, so today I'm driving home from the hospital
and I stop by the magazines office to pick up the pics
I took on the racetrack on saturday( 360 modena , I'll upload the pics later today....) and the edtor asks if I'm in the mood to take this car for a day or two and write an article and snap some shots....

And tomorrow I'll stop by again to take the new Golf GTI ,drive it around for a few hours and take the pictures for the mag.

The Swift is IMO a very nice looking car. Reminds me of the Mini.
The nose is a bit bubly like the one form the mini.
There's tons of space inside and the quality feel is defently in touch with
the competition. I drove this car on the track last saturday and it holds it's course nicley. Not a racer, but that's why the GTI version is coming out.

I'll also be getting a chance of driving that model.
Boot space is modest and I'm being generous. The center console
offers just enough. The buttons feel good and the seats are so so.

Welcome back mr. SWIFT! We've been expecting you.

I give it 3.5 out of 5.

I like Swift Gti's, small agile cars. Basic model was always crappy with nothing than seats and steering wheel but tis looks good :P

What engines does this one have! I hope there are no diesel options in the range :P

Not sure about the engines.

This one has the 1.5l - 100hp

I got all the stuff about the whole range down in the car and I'm just to lazy to go get it

Well, my first job is this:

http://www.enki.si/index.cgi?m=11&id=27&lang=2

and this ( all one company)

http://www.maxyweb.com/index.cgi?lang=1

basically we offer to set up internet pages on a high level.
The first link is the one where we do expensive stuff. Virtual worlds, simulations...

The second link. Cheaper stuff, internet pages for smaller companies
but still very quality work.

Myself, I don't now anything about programing, I just get the people interested and my job is to get the deal signed. Alot of talking involved....

I started to work here about 8 months ago.

The magazine thing is on the side. I get 1-2 cars a month to review and I also write about the Formula 1. That means 2-3 articles a mag.

The chief editor saw I could make some decent shots and asked me if I could make photos for my own articles and he gives me the camera and I go make photos of the car. Sometimes I can choose the locations, sometimes we promote a place ( hotel, restaurant, stuff like that) and take the pictures there, for a copensation or something similar.

For instance the day I was at the track ( the whole 360 thing) I also got the keys of the Seat Alhambra and took the car to a castle near by and I made some great photos.

I'll get to take pics of the new golf GTI tomrrow. Probably.

So I guess I'm both ( journalist and photographer although I have alot to learn in both fields, but I guess this is the best way to learn) and I just love it.

I hope all of this makes sense

^^^^

I don't get paid alot. Around 50$ for one article.

I could ask for more but I can't be bitching being here only a few months.

And it's not like this is my month's pay. To tell you the truth, I'd probably be doing this for free.

I get to ride in new cars all the time. I don't have to pay for gas.
I get to write about the car wich I love and thousands of people read what I write.

What more could I ask for!?! Not much I think.

Maybe in time, I'll set my conditions, but for now, I'm happy with the way things are.

ok, bad news.

The weather is to shitty to take any pics, so I won't be getting the Golf GTI
today. I'll have to wait a bit longer.

Oh well.
