DTM Hockenheim 2005 Season Opening Today [ Updated ]

Hello,

here are some pics from the 2005 DTM Season Opening in Hockenheim.
It was sold out over 133000 Fans joined the circuit.

We saw the Carrera Cup , VW Polo Cup , Seat Supercopa ,Formula 3 and
the DTM.

There were 3 Mercedes Driver on the Podium.

Congratulations to Jean Alesi and HWA/AMG.
Good Job Mika on the 8th Place.

TT, there were a lot of Security Guys around the parking lots,there were all taller then me,hihi.

Nice choise they made for the safety cars :D That slightly tuned A6 looks sexy and the black CLS looks hot too. And I can't say no to a DB9 :D Nice sightings!

Lol, last year I was maybe a few seats away from yeckmohr yesterday ... as I said, luckily you had a better zoom :wink:
Well, talking about the parkings, there was the VIP one which is closed but it was probably possible to spot a few sports cars in the other ones which were opened to everybody (like the one where the SL55 with carlsson rims was) :wink:
I see you could enter the Fahrerlager, was it also reserved to 4 500 persons or so ?

BTW, I love those ABT's everywhere :mrgreen:

welchen Crash meinst Du?Ich hab nur den Porsche-Crash gesehen,der DTM Crash war versteckt hinter der Boxenmauer.

We had Paddock Tickets for 2 Days,but they were limited that's right.
Some friends of mine know some people from Bilstein that's why we had these tickets.They are from Formula Student Racing SAE.

These Security Guys were at the VIP Parking Lots and on the normal parking there was the chance to make pics,but Dodo's Pics are better.

I only have an Sony Cybershot with 3x Optical Zoom that's not so nice for these Race Pics.

Same here... :? It's a good camera for stopped cars, but when they are in movement... it's just like a shit. I need a Nikon D70 right now!!! :D

The Canon 300D now that the 350D was launched is actually very cheap this days... and it's not much worse than the D70 IMO

Nice, in those pics you can clearly see the exhaust valve in the inside pipe, which only opens above a certain rev count and throttle level.
