Here I am are with some "new" pictures to share. Taken end January or beginning February in Ticino, the region were my family lives. Basically all of them in Lugano, the main town there (just giving some background informations ;))

Click any pic to be taken to the full 20 high-res pics update

In alphabetical order, Aston comes first :D and this was one of my first DB9 actually. parked like that on the sidewalk, owner inside, but still ok to take some pics. What a sexy car!

Oh well, I always like the M3 and this one seems slightly slammed to the ground
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83BMW_E46_M3_267-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

Another one.. moving
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83BMW_E46_M3_269-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

And if the M3 is not enough, maybe you'd like a CSL?
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83BMW_E46_M3_CSL_098-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

A pretty famous garage/dealership, Loris Kessel's.. sadly you are usually not allowed to take pics in an area because they keep also customers' cars in there, and anyway there isn't much space in the two small showrooms.. so I just took this one, looking weird with the Honda sign on top :D
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Ferrari_430_193-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

And now a 575M in the wild.. sadly the sun was going away, so lighting conditions were fucked up.. I missed a yellow 550 because of that :bah:
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Ferrari_575M_194-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

A Focus RS... no idea why he had to splatter it with stickers and add the wing but well...
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Ford_Focus_RS_12-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

Jaguar XKR cabrio, always classy
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Jaguar_XKR_011-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

C32 AMG for sale
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Mercedes-Benz_C32_AMG_015-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

I absolutely love this pic. It was just an SL500, but the driver saw me while I was focusing on the road before he entered the shooting zone, and he tought I was taking a pic of the house, that's why I think he is looking that way :D Too bad for the weird colors
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Mercedes-Benz_SL500_030-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

A 964, can't remember if this one was some special anniversary edition or not
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Porsche_964_Carrera_001-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

Another Porsche ass.. this 993 C4S with golden BBS was sexy as hell! And loud too!
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Porsche_993_Carrera_4S_019-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

One more step toward the present generation, 996 cabrio ass
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Porsche_996_Carrera_cabrio_033-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

And here we are with yet another 997S.Sadly I had no polarizer filter yet, so the reflections/glares are way too strong :(
http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost/data/504/83Porsche_997_Carrera_S_115-med.jpg (http://www.swisscarsightings.com/updates/updates072.html)

And finally one of the best catches of those days.. my first Tuscan speed 6! LOUD!

I also really like the CSL, still waiting to catch the one in Perth :( .....and the 993 C4S is still looking good :D Shame about the yellow 550 - I'm sure it will appear again
THanks for the update :D

I think he was looking for something in the glovebox and I was very quick just in case ;) so I think he didn't notice.

HAHA, I see that, like many swiss people living in the german part, you know my Ticino pretty well ;)

Of course there are Bellinzona (regional capital) and Locarno wich are pretty big and "important" too, but Lugano is still the third economical pole after Zurich and Genève ;)

Relatives of me live in Locarno, I spent a few vacations on the "Lugano"-side , near a town called Tesserete...

Next question: Ambri (HCAP) or HC Lugano 8)

i think this is an anniversary model because of the 911 badge and the wide back-fenders

Hehe Locarno is some sort of "little Germany".. last time I was there, I had problems because nobody seemed to speak italian LOL! 99% of the population during summer is German or anyway swiss speaking german and at the restaurant it was impossible to have a menu written in my fucking language :D

As for the Hockey matter, believe it or not, I don't give a fuck LOL, I don't even know in wich league Ambrì and Lugano play

me neither, but I know from my cousins, that there is a BIG difference between HCAP and HCL ( I think Monte Ceneri is again the "border" between the supporters).. so, you're supposed to be a HCL- fan :D

Great update!!!
Nice start with the sexy DB9, going over BMW with its highlight: the M3 CSL. I like it so much more as the standard M3. The colour combination body-wheels on the 993 C4S is superb. And owner got my vote as well for the optional exhaust system. But the star of this update is without a doubt the TVR Tuscan: looks good, sounds superb, goes like hell, and you don't see them often.

BTW since then I saw another two Tuscan (one in Geneva and one in Paris) and like this first one, both were fucking moving, so I have 3 Tuscan pics, all looking the same :D

This one had Italian plates BTW so it was an even luckier catch :D

Oh yes and in case komotar is reading, I just realized my next update in 5 days will be pretty interesting for him ;)

Maybe I've to change it in 'looks good, sounds superb, goes like hell, and I don't see them often' :D

Hehe, komotar will prolly count down the next 5 days, dieing to know what you’re going to post in your next update. He maybe won't sleep for 5 days

But definitely, the Tuscan is a fucking rare sight in continental Europe

ah ok, I misuunderstood that ;)
But I think I know what you're talking about, since it must something really special, cause komotar asked several times for it. Are those pics perhaps about two very special cars, which I was able to see as well some time ago at exact the same spot, but I didn't had time to go back to take pics (:()? :D

It's about cars komotard seems to love a lot lately ;)

04-12-2005, 05:01 PM
Oh no!!! I'll have to wait for them some months? Now I'll have to ask you several times: 'Are they coming yet in the next update?' 'Are they coming yet in the next update?' 'Are they coming yet in the next update?' ...

TT is that a F430 Spider at the dealership in yellow?! neways awesome pics and a few very very nice cars to be seen around town, I much prefer cars 'in the wild' then at dealers but hey beggers can not be choosers.

TT

Sweet pics TT...that Ferrari dealer with the giant 'Honda' sign is quite weird. :P Maybe they have an NSX-R? :!: ;)

The CSL looks stunning, and that 993 looks very purposeful with those wheels. Thanks for the pics. :D

Nice pics TT, I must say I thik you're photography is improving all the time... most of them look like wall paper material there ;) Think the Tuscan may have carbon cans on so thats why it was real loud - even so they're fairly unrestricted as standard

Holly shit!

I totaly missed this topic!

The DB) is stunning  It's like I see it for the first time every time it
shows up here on JW.

That is a great colour for the M3. It stands out although the colour is not screaming....

The CSL was a legendary ar from day one and is one of my favorite bmw's ever.
Allways nice to see it showing its muscles...

The rolling SL pic is fantastic. ( the side shot )

The gold rims should fint their way on all 993 carreras.

The TVR pic is the best, the car looks like frozen in time.

Thx a bunch for this great update!
