A simply breathtaking race in Monza saw victory go to Pedro Lamy and Gabriele Gardel in the nr 11 Larbre Competition Ferrari 550 Maranello, heading a pack of four Maserati MC 12 cars. The two Vitaphone cars were second and third, followed by the JMB duo, with the nr 16 pole sitter fourth, Peter having led the race for much of the first half.

Throughout the 500 km, the competition was extremely close, with the leading three crossing the line separated by just 1.5 seconds.

The Corvette C5R of GLPK Carsport looked like creating a surprise in its first ever race, running second with just ten laps to go, until a broken oil line took the yellow car out. But its potential has been proved.

In GT2, the Gruppe M Porsche of Lieb and Rockenfeller was victorious, ahead of their team-mates Collard and Sugden. Ebimotors finished third, with Racz and Venc fourth for Machanek Racing.

As for the Race download I don't know, but if you have Eurosport, they usually re-air it...

Hmm, you can always watch it on eurosport.com. Not the best quality, but better than nothing I guess... :)

Awesome little update nuno! Thank you very much - a quick but fact-filled post w/ results of the race. Only question: Where and when was this event?

Thanks for doing this - for ppl like me who don't have time to go searching through webpages, or the luxury of getting to watch it on TV, this is excellent. Keep it up!
