Maserati???

Hey guys,
I spotted this car last summer but I can't figure out what kind of car it is and I need to know it, because it drives me crazy :P.
I thought it was a Maserati.. Is it rare/special??

This is a Maserati indeed, an Indy actually.

There were three engine evolutions in the Indy, all V8: 4.2, then 4.8 and 4.9 finally (hp from 260 to 335 hp)

Definitely not a common sight!
1136 were produced between 1969 and 1974

You did well to identify it from just one picture.... i was trying to make out the badge on the rear, lol.

Seems not many people actually know the older Massers :( (see other topic with Merak). At least we can learn from it :)

Hehe, some time ago I had to work on a Maserati history ;) before, I would have thought it was a Ghibli maybe.. or maybe not even that far :D
