Well I just came back from Spring Break and picking up my new ride (will post once stops raining and I get some pics) I wanted to get some pics on the trip but forgot. I took some pics along the way I thought some of you might enjoy the scenic views of the U.S.
The trip was 3227 miles from My Uncle’s house in Sacramento to my house in Chicago. It took 3 days.

Yeah, me to. My dad went to the states in 81' and drove from NYC to LA.

He said it was unforgetable......so, TT, let's make a plan and just go.

Maybe next year or something

Are you kidding! Hahaha...maybe in Las Vegas or Beverly Hills they rent out cars like that (I don't think we have any RS4s in the U.S., but definitely the RS6), but everywhere else its junky GM or Ford stuff. :(

I'm in. Although I've driven over 1000 miles in the U.S. I have yet to see the South and West coast. A JW American road trip would be fucking awesome. 8)

we should do a UK road trip, lets face it all the UK members dont have as far totravel do they?

gis, thenumber1, daggernite and transam are all within about 2 or less hours of me, and we can get down to london opn the train in under 4 hours!

TransAm

Hmmm aint transam in texas Tom?

Yep only for the next 12 months though and Tom wont be driving til July IIRC

No point messing about in the UK IMHO, we need to drive from North UK to Dover, then over to Calais and we can all turn up at TT's (as an example) or Dani's, picking up Thamar and Darkel on the way!

That's a lot of ....highway. Lol, nice pics. Some very nice scenery there. Definitely inspiring, tho for me, I'd much rather do the Euro tour. Good ol mountain roads...

T-Bird
04-03-2005, 03:48 AM
trust me there are some good mountain roads in northern California and then again in the rockies but in an SUV they aren't so much fun.
