Great find! I love the 80s and 90s Le Mans racers: the Porsche 962, this Mazda... The sound is just insane!!! Thanks a lot!
The speed is insane too..... nearly 400km/h on LeMans, sub 7 minutes laps on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Oh, the good old Gruppe C days. 8)

beautiful sound, though didnt they ban these cars at what time??
They weren't really banned, they killed themselves. If you wanted to win, you had to spend more than the other guy. It simply got way to expensive. Although, it's peanuts compared to today's F1 budgets.
goodness goodness goodness... that thing sounded so effin bad.. just loved it when you hear the driver downshift.. good post man...

Doesn't the 787 have four rotars?

Awesome find. I very much look forward to seeing this vid. I only wish there were more rotaries in racing these days, or on the street for that matter.

Doesn't the 787 have four rotars?
I believe it does.
Ikon, there will be a Courage chassis with a 3 rotor Renisis at the next ALMS race.

In a world of N/A motors, the superiority of the Rotary power is noted!
