Theft sees F1 boss with no wheels

Bernie Ecclestone's car was left stranded
Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone may have difficulty getting anywhere in a hurry after the wheels of his Mercedes were stolen at his London home.

The 74-year-old millionaire, who recently lost control of F1 racing to a group of banks, said the wheels were taken at around 0445 on Saturday.

He said the thieves were captured on film but he was not planning to report the matter to the police.

The wheels of another Mercedes he owned were stolen in 2003.

My Paper (telegraph) has Bernie quoted as saying we will deal with it ourselves :lol: So looks like Bernies henchman will be hunting down the thieving bastards LMAO!

Also he said he couldn't remember the last time he saw a policeman in his area, which is probably true for most!

It looks like it's a CLS 55 AMG. Damn nice cars and awesome rims. The man does have good taste. I hate thiefs! :fist:

Yep it is, one of the first in the country i believe, my paper says £500 per wheel, but the times says £5000, mind you they also say the car cost £300,000 LMAO!

He's worked his arse off for years, earning a fortune over £1 BILLION. Freakin' news is so innacurate.... as they are with the cost of the car etc.. :|

at least the theifs were nice enough to put it on jack stands (i believe thats what they are called) rather than just bricks like those Porsches
