sportscar event 2003 in "little Monaco"

just arrived back form Velden, the Monaco from austria, where a sportscar festival took place from friday to sunday.
i departured on saturday midday and when i finally arrived in Velden the first supercars i saw had been a Pagani Zonda S, a Ferrari 550, a Porsche GT3 and some other Ferraris.... so not too bad for being two minutes in town!!! all the way down to my hotel http://www.golfparkhotel.at/english/index.htm ( i can highly recommend it e.g. when you are on holiday in austria) just really lovely sportscars and when i arrived at the hotel, it was a really impressive sight. "supercars only" parking!!! you`ll see later...
to sum it all up, there were over 150 cars attending that event which are nearly 190M € worth. the best cars where Pagani Zonda S, Ferrari F40 & F40 LM and #3 of only five MB CLK GTR Roadster :shock:
what i know the most expensive production car ( 1.948.000€ ) worldwide.
later in the evening there`d been the offical presentation of the Ferrari Challenge Stradale in the Casino Velden. after that a little bit small talk with some of the owners....very good news for next year: the guy who owns the Pagani`ll be there again, but then with his Ferrari Enzo!!! :D
sometime in the mornig back to the hotel to get some sleep, and on sunday attending the departue ceremony in front of the hotel.

In picture 19 there is a grey roadster, I don't reconize it. It seems pretty new, kinda retro design. Or am I mistaken?

I love the CLK GTR. The chances that I will ever see that car 'live' are pretty small.

The 'women only'-parking space was a great idea :D . They should introduce this around town aswell. What did their doors look like when they left, all scratched and dented? I bet!

I also wonder what the owners of those cars do while humble paysants become infatuated with their cars. Were they playing golf meanwile?

Great photos st.anger. That looks like a really sweet festival of cars. It looks like all the cars I saw in Monaco last year at the GP. My friend and I are going to save up and buy a GTR-CLK and then share it, LOL, yeah right, maybe in about 10 years.

Thanks a million for the pics as well...they look magnificient.......i loved mostly the copper coloured diablo, and the grey CLR-GTR as well.........although every car shown in the photo was magnificient
