The correct term is 'dyed' hair from verb 'to dye' (this word can be used to talk about changing colours of clothes or fabric as well as hair)

Remember a song by INXS called 'suicide blonde'? The joke is that her hair is dyed (died) by her own hand :lol:

you're somewhat right, but here it's funny because you go to buy food to some kinds of markets (for spanish readers: mercado y tianguis), where all the ppl that sell there call you either by guero or "young man" (joven),these for men. And for women they say guera or miss even when you're black or brownie, oldie or you left the Miss status loong ago :mrgreen:

well Ronin005 onda does mean wave literally but in this term it doesnt mean that, as he said it means like whats up blonde, cause guero is someone with light hair and like skin most of the time, but asi ^ said in some stores they call u as guero or "joven"(to show respect i guess) which tranlated to young person, but i guess it can transslate to "dude" but in a muuch more respectfull way.
so back to the original question, no and yes, guero's are mostly white people, with their exceptions, so in a way it refers to them but not directly, like referig to "white people" when you say that term.

lots of words in english have more than one meaning, so I'm sure it is the same in other languages. Also, what means something in a certain dialect (i.e. American English vs UK English, the word 'fanny' :shock: ) may mean something different in another part of the world where the same language is spoken
