I think it'd be good to see some shots of the interior, and that big fat 12cylinder powerplant.

However, we'll have to have a custom pic or you'll get a lot of 'pics or STFU' type of posts, and unleash the wrath of TT :!:

By the way, welcome to JW, I don't think you've had the pleasure of putting up with my incessant ramblings before...

Thanks for pointers, but what do you mean, Custom Pic? or "pics and
STFU" type posts? I guess I haven't cracked the accronym code either

A custom shot is a picture of the car's manual on its hood or something of that nature, to prove you really do own that monster.

Pics or STFU = Pictures or Shut The F##k Up, it basically means to prove that you own the vehicle, you provide a 'custom' picture...check the rules for this section of the site out:

http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8593

I think there have been issues with people coming onto the site in the past and claiming they have a fleet of supercars and having no evidence to prove such a claim

If you want to avoid a barrage of abuse (check out some of the comments in the threads in the 'unverified' section of the 'what do you drive or ride' forum) then you need to provide some evidence.

Yeah, its good to see some pics, but here, whatever car you drive a picture of something custom to prove you own the car is required, untill then the thread will be locked.
As has been said, a pic of the manual on the bonnet or boot, a page saying Hello JW in the same picture as the car will do.
Nice car :D

Really great car. The blue color really suits the car, I'd never expected blue would be a great Diablo color. As AL already said, the folowing pic is great. The background is to die for :)

Ahh you beat me to it....yes Dave is yet another Lamborghini owner to join JW...I make that four Diablo owners and a Jalpa owner.

That sure is a marvelous specimen of a Roadster you have there Dave and I absolutely love that rear wing.

I wonder if you would allow us to make your Lamborghini a future "featured" car on JW ?

Dave, Awesome Roadster and my favorite Diablo by far. In that shade of blue, it is fantastic!!! welcome to JW and enjoy your stay. You will find lots of info, media and basically anything you could want to know about autos, and basically everything else!(babes included) great community here, so stick around. I look forward to seeing your beautiful beast as a featured car here on JW soon :D

Love the Diablo but hate to drive it.

Why do you hate to drive it?

The Diablo is a very hard car to drive.. The clutch is seriously heavy and you need to really push the gear leaver to get it into gear.. Parking is really difficult because the rear end is seriously wide .. Trying to backup the diablo into a parking spot is a nightmare with you concentrating not to burn the clutch and not damaging the car.. other than that it's a great car.. It's easy to drive on the highway.. and you don't really feel your going fast until you see the speedometer.. :D

Don't disagree with the rear vis problem. Also I read it is the widest production car ever built [80.3"]. However, once you have driven it just a day or so, you get used to the controls and it becomes very comfortable. One thing that makes people look is when you have to go up any rise or curb, you have to back up it. Even with power lift on front, it is still too low. Having to parallel park is an indication of poor trip planning and should be avoided. Scrapping stock exhaust is mandatory, and once you have you can hear it and using clutch be comes infinitely easier. Aren't you glad you asked? Overall it is a dream. :D

copied from the other topic which I moved to general chat

attached are some of the pictures you requested. I do drive this thing every chance I get. The exhaust system is a "Capristo" and it sounds incredible. :2gunfire:
Sincerely
