'Mark Webber looked back on his free practice: "Not an ideal day for me, but these things can happen. We had a gear-shifting problem, which cost us the running in the second, most important session. Anyway, at least it looks like Nick collected some good information, which was the main objective, so now we can do our homework and be ready for tomorrow.'

During Friday's second practice in Malaysia Felipe Massa completed the quickest laptime with temperatures going up to 38 degrees. The Brazilian Sauber driver was 2.5 seconds faster in practice than teammate and former World Champion Jacques Villeneuve.

Jacques Villenueve is far away from what he used to be... If I were him I would start thinking in other possibilities: DTM, CART, IRL, touring cars, FIA GT... I don't think he will continue next year... according to the results.

Yep, and seems like Sauber is already looking for other possibilities... Or maybe they're just putting a bit more pressure on him...

This is only a Free Practise tough, but still I don't expect him to deliver a good Race. I mean, look at Melbourne: even with one more pit stop he's fastest lap was about 1 second slower than Massa's...
