Is it me or is taking (for instance) your stock 1960's 4 speed Jaguar E type out for a blast around the 'ring just as much fun, if not more than a modified, modern, 1000hp beast?
I think it's down to almost all the classic are so light n nimble and compared to most of the modern cars handle so much better than most of their modern counterparts....
Am I alone on this?
Maybe we should have a classics 'ring championship? ;) Pre 1970?
I have the 65' Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA tuned to 240bhp and its the best damn car so far , much more fun than any of the modern cars especially at the ring, so you might just be right :D

I haven't modified any of my classics yet except my cobra which has pants handling anyway... will have to give it a go ;)
I am with you guys, I always prefer down to earth cars myself.. 1000 monsters are boring and just too fast

There is a Mini Cooper 1.3i, I've seen in it in the car list. And, an exclusive Mini Marcos, that for the ones who don't know, is a special "race" car with fiber glass body and Mini mechanics.
^^^ I have the Mini Marcos... but no Mini Cooper :(
A couple of BMW Minis though.

:D :D good news :D :D. The marcos bodied minis look pretty cool, sadly this one that came 15th in the 1966 Lemans was stolen after the race :-( How about trying to reinact that race :P

That would be the NTSC-J car list then, IIRC, the old shape mini is only in the Japanese version of GT4

Hummm... the side repeaters in this one are different. They're just like the ones from the Mini.

perhaps it was recovered then.... for sure i remember hearing that after the race it was stolen
BTW - that Cooper 1.3 is a 1998 "new" old model.
What we need is a pukka 1970's 1275HE ;)

Yeah I agree with you guys also. Its very fun to drive these old school cars. I havent had the time to race any of these old school racers at the ring yet. I cant wait until tommorow ( friday) and the weekend when I can play GT4 as long as I want without having to worry about home work and shit!

Thanks Dan! I didnt even think about that! Anyways has anyone driven the Ginetta G4? That thing kicks some serious ass! I believe its like 640 KG's or 410KG's or something like that (Yeah I know big difference between the two.)
But I tuned it to 200 Hp and drove it around and so much fun! I NEED to go to the ring and drive these today! :D I will be back with my review of it after a few hours when I test it out.
