Diablo Electric Fan Sensors/thermostats

The other day I started 97 roadster and immediatley the electric fans started running. I only needed to move it a short distance and shut it off. However the fans kept running and after about 5 minutes I shut them off by removing Master Batt. pin. The next time they appeared to work normally. I don't know whether the following had anything to do with above but will throw it in.
About 2 weeks ago [600 mi] I put a full Capristo exhaust system, including cats, on it. Install went fine but did not put heat shield in. The wing panel does not get very hot, comfortable to touch inside under wing after driving. But in reading a previous note on lambda sensor, I don't think mine even had them on stock system. There is a valve stem size fitting coming out of each side prior to going into cat that does not have connection from the car.

I don't think the fans are directly connected to anything near the exhaust system unless you accidentally disturbed something during the installation.

I have had this sort of thing happen to me before and I have managed to solve a lot of false sensor readings / illuminated dash lights by simply resetting the main computer.

If you are not already aware it is located behind the drivers seat in a disguised box (you will need to remove some screws to get at it) then you simply remove that massive connector going into it for between 10 seconds and 24 hours depending on the nature of the fault...however if the sensor is faulty it may well send the false information back to it it quite quickly again.

Presumably the disconnection of the battery pin reset the main computer, as you advised jabba.
It seems to me like a coincidental electric bug to do with the radiator temperature sensor. I am by no means an expert on lambos though!

As has been said, i also can see no connection between the lambda sensors and the radiator fan operation.
