I haven't had the car that long so I am learning new things each day, but I noticed that making a fairly tight turn at slow speeds, I can tell the wheels are trying to slip, much like old Posi-track used to. Is this common and normal? Thanks all. :?: :D

firstly is it AWD or RWD? that would make a difference...
you could have bad suspension parts binding up or you could just be getting some bumpsteer. it could be something in the differential like the clutches slipping.
The problem is that most people mis-diagnose suspension/drivetrain problems. The only real way of finding out is to drive the car and recreate the problem with the technician.

Thanks for the note, It is 4-WD, someone else said his did it too, apparently it sounds like this may be normal with limited slip in tight turns. My trouble is the nearest Technician is 1000 miles away. Sincerely Dave :)

If you have AWD and the car is scrubbing in tight turns, it could be the differential. If it's a tight set-up, the differential is trying to lock-up, but is just letting a little bit of slip, since you're turning. Not having a Diablo, I can't say whether this is normal or not. Although, on a high performance car like that, it sounds plausible.

I'm assuming you know of this website:

http://www.lamborghini-talk.com/

There will definately be more first hand knowledge there. I don't know if they're friendly, so be sure you read any FAQs and do a search before asking a question...some places will chew your head-off for re-asking a previously discussed topic.

Good luck.

Thanks Stan, I have been there too, and everybody is saying pretty much the same thing, this is normal if you turn at the lock, same as any 4WD especially if on a little gravel. have a great day, Dave :D
