In this first edition of the new series, Vicki learns some Hollywood stunt tricks; Tiff and Jason test-drive the new Porsche Boxster, this week's competition prize, as it goes head-to-head against the BMZ 24; and Jon checks out speed camera detectors.

It will be nice to have a few new videos on the front page at long last !!!

Can't wait for that (and TG) to start up again for 2005! At least we have GT4 to keep us busy in the meantime :mrgreen:

This is really great news! I thought that we were gonna have to wait until May. I'm kinda curious about the shootout between the Cayenne and the X5, guessing the Porsche will be faster but I'lj just have to wait and see.

Great! Especially since TG is so damn far away! The whole 5th Gear season will be finished by then :bah:

Let's hope they didn't waste the whole budget on this first episode LOL

Cool, I guess this is to avoid to much competition/ comparison with top gear, always enjoyable, but something will conspire to make me miss at least some eps which makes me thankful for JW :D

i can only imagine that 5th gear is going to have a slightly improved budget this year... in any case, its always great to watch tiff, and vicki driving like maniacs

Hopefully Tiff will get the chance to test the new Boxster on the track, his last review of the boxster was great ;)

Damn , I didn't expect to see 5th gear back till late April or early May. They're usually on their 3ed or 4th episode when Top Gear begins.

Anyway, ....I'm glad I don't have to wait till late may for Top Gear to come on. At least I'll have something to hold me over till then.

Aha that's good news. Top Gear is really long away.

I actaully prefer it when both series are not broadcasted at the same time.

Lets hope they'll do a feature on the TVR Sagaris & the Aston Vantage V8...

I've got used to watching some series before sleeping and the one I have been watching lately is "It takes a thief" wich is 1 hour long. I much rater watch cars and well 20 minutes will allow me to sleep earlier lol.
