I can't find a link on jabba for this yet.
This is one of the ultimate cars to aspire to. Anyone with a few million dollars lying around?

http://www.carclassic.com/html/DU10.htm

I remember a small clip of a NART spider driving by on one of those websites with lots of tiny Ferrrari clips. Wonder if it was this one?

Anyone know what the colours of the NART spiders are?

Thank you very much. After some searching on barchetta I got them as well. Not certain which one is one sale and the carclassic dealers won't tell me unless I am the buyer.

#9437 Used in the original Thomas Crown affair.

#10219 Ralph Lauren

#10249 still original owner? His widow anyway...

#10691 at $4.3 million seems to be the most expensive.

http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/10691.275GTB4.NART.htm

#10709 still owned by original owner?

http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/10709.275GTB4.NART.htm

The trade-ins for #10749 is quite impressive!

http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/11057.275GTB4.NART.htm

So the car should fetch around $2.5million I think.

It has to be one of the following by the colour in the pics:

10453 Blu Sera / Nero Sold new to Steve McQueen, USA.
10691 Blu Sera / Nero Sold new to Donald Rose, USA.

and I would guess its the second one since if it were owned by McQueen I think they would mention it in the ad since it is a good selling point  I could be way off the mark however :?

The most likely candidates are:

10453 Blu Sera / Nero Sold new to Steve McQueen, USA.
10691 Blu Sera / Nero Sold new to Donald Rose, USA.

I got a chassis number.
It is a converted 275GTB.
http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/7061.275GTB.htm

Trying to find out more about who did the conversion.
It has been repainted blue, as the photo on the website is red.

I also believe in my search I have found one of the ugliest Ferraris ever!
Thanks to those mutilators - Zagato.

Sorry for the crappy pics. The light was bad and that plant wasn't exactly placed in a convenient spot... :(

Hmmm. Hard to see if the interior is beige. But it is likely. I do not think there are that many replica NART's. It is no mean thing to cut up a 275GTB.

I know there is a tleast one other one in yellow.

Its just such a pity that a conversion can still stir emotion.
Damn I love that 275 shape!
