It looks nice.

Not so cool as the previous one, wich is one of the most beautiful cars of its type IMO 8)

I think the back looks like an Audi a6 mixed with a bmw 5 series, anyone else?

IS200 was comparable to E46 3-Series, so IMO the IS250 will be an alternative to the new 3-Series.

Indeed. The GS is the 5-series competitor, and of course the LS vs 7-series.

you could argue SC430 vs 645 as well I guess

The back, seen from a 45º angle, seems like a BMW 5 series.. lol
Everyone criticises, but a few time later, everyone imitates!

It's like BMW/Audi/Porsche interiors. Everybody said they were too gray and austere. Now, everyone tries to imitate them.. lol

I don't know.......I like the previous version far more. This car will bledn in with all the kias and Hyundays.

The previous model couldn't do that. Well, maybe it's just the colour. Myabe it looks better in black ot blue.....

It is a matter of the point of view... You could have added it to the existing thread though.

It's a competitor....not a poor man's version of something. IMO buying Lexus is a matter of personal choice. Lexus tho didn't surpass Bimmer in the most performance area, but their after sales service is excellent, and so is their reliability and resale value.

Lexus is one of the cars with which you will have minimal number of problems.

probly didn't want it to look like a ricer :P which of course is pretty ironic since they started that horrible trend.

my guess is that Lexus wanted to make the new IS ugly enough that ricers didn't want to copy it anymore. i'd say they succeeded.

I really like it, the exterior that is. The center dash looks good, but the passenger dash, bleh! it's plain, and horrid!. They coul've atleast put a strip of wood accross it. Once again, the interior is the weak point.

looks okay to me...but it doesn't have an evolution from it previous model, I like the interior on this car, looks so Lexus as usual...but the looks a bit similiar to new Acura, IMO
what about the car figures? any spec anybody

I like how FINALLY Lexus have a signature style.. with the chrome bits around the lights and the rear and most prominant the C pillar "kick ups" Its bland but a more acceptable nice bland. I'd still have a 159, 3 Series or A4 over it though.
