  WTF?!

What will you do when it grows to a couple of meters? You can't keep it at home anymore, can you?

Sorry for the rat BTW :( I had one as a pet and they're wonderful animals.

Fascinating animal :D Does he know any tricks? Besides swallowing a rat. Where do you find his dinner, anyway?

Nice, healthy looking snake. I have a 14 foot Albino Burmese Python named Kiljoi. I need to take some video of him eating a huge rabbit and post.

Well they don't grow that fast, BCIs reach a lenght of about 6-9 feet, I guess that when he's too big for me to handle, maybe I'll give it to the local zoo, or maybe I'll keep it, I really don't know...

Snakes are amazing animals, it's amazing how they can eat things so big that you wouldn't believe fit in them, I love watching them while they eat...to bad I lost Lola (the one eating the rat), like three months ago, one morning I checked on her and she was gone, I've never seen her since....but....about two weeks ago, there was this article on the paper, saying that an old woman from around my neighborhood found a boa in her house, and she called the firemen and they came to her house and killed it... :( I really hope that wasn't Lola...

Asl for dinner, I get the rats from a snake breeder, and sometimes I buy hamsters from pet stores..I feed him every 10 to 14 days...and yes he does other tricks, I bet you a million dollars that he'd beat you in a staring contest... :D

Thanks, wow 14 feet!! that's big, I think way to big for me, looks amazing :D and please you have to take that video and post it...!!! I've been looking for an albino boa, but they're imposible to find in nicaragua...BTW how much did you pay for it?

No, neither boas or pythons are venomous. Well the BCI common central american boa, which is the one that I have, can frow up to 6-9 feet, these are the most common boas around, and the BCC a type of boa from south america can grow up to 11 feet , Pythons are the largest snakes in the world and can grow bigger than Minacious huge 14 foot Kiljoi...

aren't anacondas the largest snakes or are they part of the python family?

don't you ever worry that one night you're asleep, the snake will crawl into your bed and eat you?

It could just kill him...as it happened to a few large snakes owners.

BTW: That boa looks very nice, but I would never own one!

Yes, I was wrong about the largest snake, but there seems to be a bit of confusion on this subject....the record for the largest snake ever found is an Anaconda found in colombia messuring 37 feet, but I don't know if they made it official beacause i think it got away...hey I found this stroy about this check it out...http://www.unmuseum.org/bigsnake.htm

My mom thinks that someday he's gonna get out of his cage and eat us all...hehe, she hates them, she can't stand seeing him :D but I don't think that'll ever happen, I mean now he's locked up tight, I learned my lesson when Lola escaped, and besides he's way too small...I've read stories abuot large snake owners getting eaten by them, but in most cases it happen because the owner was distracted while handling them or cleaning the cases...

Well boas are natural from Central and South America, so here you can get them pretty cheap or actually find them, I bought Lola for about US $5, and Pinky actually crawled into my house looking for Lola's rats, I walked into the room and saw it was a boa, so i grabbed it and put it in a cage :D
In the US you can get a BCI for like $100 to $150, and of course there are types of snakes which can cost thousands of dollars...but in Australia I have no idea at all :?

I think they are great pets as long as you can take good care of them, they don't smell bad, actually they don't smell at all, they eat every 10 - 14 days, that means they take a dump every 10 days, which translates to less cage cleaning, and they look amazing!
