Hi, Everybody.
I've always had a question about the name of the Ferrari Enzo, but haven't yet been able to figure out the answer to; perhapse you guys can enlighten me on this.
Now, perhapse I shouldn't look at the name of the car so closely, but I just find it weird how they've named a car after their founder, Enzo Ferrari. It will, of course be the most ultimate car that Ferrari has conceived -- to date, but this won't last forever.
Take for example, the F50 -- on the discovery channel special "Fast Cars, The Power and The Passion" (narrated by Jay Leno), The Ferrari boss said that the car is intended to be an F1 car for the road, and that because of the ever tighting legislation, that nothing (even from Ferrari) will be able to surpass such a car.
They've of course, bit their own tounge by releasing the Enzo.
So, eventually, there'll be a car to surpass the Enzo as well... but isn't that sorta like saying that there's going to be something that's better than the founder of Ferrari? more importantly, how would they find a name proper enough for the next ferrari "uber-car"? (Ferrari Lambo, perhapse? :D )
perhapse its a stupid question to be asking to begin with.
