I'm so pissed at them right now. This is the third time my internet access has gone out due to their incompetence! It's been out for about 2 days now and since this has happened before, I figured I'd wait a day or two and it'll work again. It still doesn't work.
So I call them and they tell me that I haven't payed them for 3 fucking months and they won't turn it on untill they get their money, which is $300!!!
I did pay them and even have the returned checks to prove it. So now I have to mail a copy of the checks to them, let them sit on it for a week before they do anything with it, then most likely fight with them some more before it'll be on again. I'm so pissed at Comcast right now. It's sad that their isn't another provider here with as good a price as them or I'd be cancelling.
So right now I'm on one of those free AOL discs that say that you don't need a credit card. Which is a lie, I still had to give them my credit card number. Bastards, if I charged for one thing and I'm gonna be really pissed!

This week started off good with the new baby and stuff, but it's gone downhill fast.
First this business with the internet crap. Then, I get fucking layed off! At first it was ok, they layed me off, and then told me they had openings in another area. OK, I'll take it. So I work there for one day and am then told that it's not gaurunteed. :x So now I have to hope that I still have a fucking job! The new position is a downgrade in pay of about 50 cents, but if it means I'm gonna still have a job, I'm cool with it.

I'm so pissed it's unbelieveable, fucking job, fucking Comcast, fucking fuck fuck fuck. :x

As this AOL crap is unbearabley slow, I probably won't be around much. Once you've gone to broadband, you do not want to go back!
Also, if I do get the job, which I'm positive about (I personally know the boss), I have to work 10 hour days, so I won't be around a whole lot then either, but I will make it a point to be here as much as possible.

Im quite happy with my cable company as i am one of the few people [in Ireland] with 1) broadband and 2) its not capped & finally..it usually flies.

stop whinging about your cable connection. at least its cheap and unlimited. broadband in australia is so crap i could bombard you with comments from disgruntled users. alot of users have 256k and that is called broadband here :roll:

you should be happy that you have cable

hope you get the job tho. life sucks without money. i could live without internet but not money.

Dang! they charge 100 a month? for that much it should be fast as hell and they should send out a rep clean your house once a month.

Badmihai is right, that icludes my cable tv, which is for some reason still working. Why they would turn the internet off and not the tv is beyond me.
Thanks for the kind words everyone. I hope this gets sorted out soon. Although I have a feeling it'll be a few weeks.

I'm not mad that it went out on me, I'm mad that Comcast is screwing me over. I will not pay them another $300 when I've already paid them.

Shit man, I hope all of this gets resolved without any problems. Good luck with Comcast, cable companies can be a pain in the kulo.
