Today, you will find more than 100 GTO's, there are many good Replicas based on other 250 or 330.

All 39 real GTO are still alive.

Yeah I've also since discovered that all of them are still "alive". I also know that there are none in Australia :( , the closest ones are in Korea/Japan (S/N 3223, 4293, 4675 and 5095).

I don't really care for the replica's - even if they look great, but they don't have the history of a real GTO.

If there was some kind of natural disaster there, the car incurance companies would bankrupt. eheh

Any idea where this renunion took place? I am assuming its in either the USA or England, considering most GTO's are located there.

You could be right, since 10 GTO's are in the UK and another 8 on mainland Europe so that would account for most of those in the pictures.

Not quite, the going price nowadays is around 10mill. USD I think - so more like half that amount.

£5m equals to about $AU 12M - so with 21 cars thats a total of about $AU 250mill.

Even Matsuda took his 250GTO to this event

He doesn't own that one anymore, has been sold twice since that event (including this year). He still owns another one (4675GT) though, so no big loss. :D

Was Matsuda the one who payed 14 million$ for one??

Nope, he "only" paid $4.2mill for the one he entered in this reunion.

The name of the guy who paid $14mill was Takeo Kato, and the funny thing is that the same car sold again 4yrs later for $2.7mill - talk about a price drop!

BTW, you seem quite interested in the 250GTO trades... may be you're interested in buying one? :P

Shit, my secret has been exposed! :P

Seriously though, lately I have been doing alot of reading about them so all these facts are in my head. :D
