Interesting how many people do not rate Montoya (I do rate him) yet in this way of rating drivers, he comes out 2nd

It's a really interesting rank/ratio, of course MS is waaay out in his own world.
JPM ranks shows how a good driver even with the williams inconsistent performance.
DC... mm, he keeps there because he has only been with big teams and he is one of the oldest drivers in F1
KR.... just by looking this number, you can see that KR, IMO, it's a better driver, more consistent, but could be McLaren's tactic to give different setups and engines to each driver.
Barrichello... only now that he's is in ferrari he has obtained lots of points
and the rest... only to mention J. Villeneuve's poor "ratio",

Thats just all numbers/stats it desnt take barely anything into account. If Schumi finished a race in 9th in a Minardi ahead of 11 others it still wouldnt mean shit to that kinda ranking, Coulthard in third proves it lol.
Here this one is more realistic and accurate but even it isnt prefect:
"I also read this on another forum, although i dont know what the original source is:
The top 24 F1 drivers have been ranked in specific categories like testing abilities, race consistency, passing and defending, qualifying speed etc., and then totaled for an overall score. Here are the results:
1 M. Schumacher 33
2 G. Fisichella 32
3 K. Raikkonen 31
4 F. Alonso 29
5 JP. Montoya 28
6 J. Button 26
7 J. Villeneuve 25
8 M. Webber 23
9 R. Barrichello 22
10 A. Davidson 22
11 N. Heidfeld 22
12 F. Massa 22
13 O. Panis 20
14 R. Schumacher 19
15 J. Trulli 19
16 D. Coulthard 17
17 M. Gene 16
18 A. Wurz 15

I'm guessing most of that is qualatative and the creators opinion.
IMO, there isn't one single stat that tells you more than number of points scored per race - its a measure of performance, and although doesen't neccesarily tell the whole story, it does show how consistent drivers are which is probably the most important factor
