Seriously, I really can't think that too many people know this one. If that's not the case, prove me wrong!!!

Its hard to tell from just a shot of the hood.

The blurred writing is the info about the car, well the name and where it was made and when.
Its hard to tell from just a shot of the hood.
That is what adds to the difficulty of this one. :D

I would guess a GT1 but I'm probably wrong

I think it's from the Abarth family (the white one just beside it is a Fiat Abarth 600). For the exact name I have to dig into my piles of magazine....could take some time!

I'm afraid you're both wrong. Loliea; I'll save you the time and effort, its not from the Abrath family.

Damned! I thought it was a derivative of the Fiat Abarth 500.
Can you give a clue? Is it brazilian?

May be a Matra???
http://www.vieux-volants.com/Galerie%20photos/Course%20de%20cote%20St%20Hyppolite%2004%2007%2020 04/Matra%20Jet%206_small1.JPG
I was going to say Lotus Europa too... It's definitely a hard one! :D
The Europa is a mid engine car, so it doesn't make sense to have the hood "scoop" where it is. Actually...i think it may be a rear engined car since the engine is behind the gearbox. Also there seems to be too much space between the nose and headlights to be a Europa :|
I'd say that the Matra might be the closest so far.

My guess is (and I'm probably wrong but what the fuck) it's an Alpina. I don't know the name but it reminds me of an Alpina from the seventies.
Or a Renault Alpine A110 1600 (1969) :D

yeah seriously. I've been through my classic cars books 3 times and i can't find it in any of them :?
I think the hood is custom made.... :?

Wow, I never expected this, after seeing some of the obscure cars that people have identified I thought that this forum would end very very quickly. It seems I was wrong. I could tell you all the answer right now, but after seeing all the effort that you have all gone to, it would be such a shame to waste this enriching opportunity. HMMMM *cough* access to the video vault could help *cough*.

OK, I guess everyone has tried their hardest. Admittedly it is a very very obscure car. Apparently it is an Hugar Condor ARH, built in Madrid in 1971. Good luck trying to find info on it! I couldn't
