Might I remark that it most likely isn't a JW member who posted the link but someone from the thousands RF members because this is the same link!!! And when you post something on RF it is very likely that the link will spread fast.
Yeh, we can really complain on that one, since 99% of the internet users have no idea what bandwidth problems are, and just spread the word about new vids as fast as possible, w/o thinking...

Yes amazing to think it was only posted up for around an hour... and it still used up over 5 GB of bandwidth...lucky I pulled the file off before I went to bed !!!

wouldn't it be smarter to just restrict all video-related access to registered jabbasworld users only and stop posting links as an advertisement on other sites? the way i see it, the vids get put up every day at no charge so bandwidth will get eaten right up easily, and posting the link willingly (especially on someplace like RF) is just ASKING to have your bandwidth limit exceeded.
my suggestion to you, jabba, would be to 1) not post the direct download link on racingflix or any other site(because this kinda thing happens), 2) if you want to spread word on RF about a new jabbasworld video release, post a link to the thread it's in instead, and 3) not allow anyone to access jabbasworld or its threads therein without being registered and logged in. this will pretty much wipe out any unknown bandwidth consumption issues
i realize you post those links on RF to be nice and i'm sure everyone on the internet appreciates it, but in cases like this, being nice has VERY bad consequences

Thats the only part that is worth mentioning...as I have tried all your other suggestions before....
The idea was it was only going to be up there for a short while before O-Ace took over hosting it on the front page of Racing Flix.....
The only thing I will change next time is there will be one link for JW people and one for RF people that will only be up for a short while...

Man its incredible how people can be so dumb. Just because they get something for free they want to spread it arround knowing that someone is getting fucked up. At least that hasnt happened with my webpage anymore.

I wanted to put it in the public forum to show people that I do still support Racing Flix with new videos and indeed take an interest in it....

What a complete cop out... that really annoys me. Obviously the idiot is just trying to get some stupid karma points (or whatever they're called at sc.net) byt taking complete advantage of something that isn't even his.
Same thing with those idiots who just repost stories without giving credit to the author. Karma is really a mixed bag when people get greedy like that.
Edit: btw, thanks Jabba for putting up with all the retards. I don't know how you do it.
