I've heard from numerous people that TopGear will indeed finally be coming to the US on Discovery Channel. (maybe HD sweet). I don't believe the episodes will be the same as BBC's in fact, they are filmed seperatly, but never-the-less this is a huge step forward for us US fans of the series.
Yes it was already posted a few times ;)

I believe the episode's coming are actually not just the one's from the UK rather original ones. Apperantly a lot less effort is put into them ( 1 hr. recording time vs. 3-4 hours), and the editing is supposed to be pretty iffy, but hey what the hell?

This will be some of the most interesting television ever created. Jeremy Clarkson....... talking about American cars and to American people. He'll probably get tons of hate mail.

^^^oh, surry. lol. kinda jumped the gun a bit. but yes, you have a point about the american cars, but look at the new ZO6. that thing is a true supercar, and it can compete with the rest of the world, nd not just because of the engine. thats about as much as i can say about american manufacturers.

If this is true, Someone from the US will have to record those lol. I suppose that these vids will be 30 mins long instead of almost an hour like in the UK, but if they are different, they will be great. I suppose they would drop the interview with a star, but that isnt that much of a loss. I'd be great if this does happen.
