Hey, does anyone know of any bittorent sites better than http://suprnova.org , especially for car vids? Or at least one with decent speeds, i average about 3kbit/s on that site, and im always downloading 1gig + files, so it takes forever. If you know any good sites, plz tell me. If not then check out the super nova site, it has lots of content.

Im mainly looking for Mischief Destroy, and Ghostrider 2, but ghostrider 2 is on bittorent, just gotta wait 10 days. lol Where do you go to find videos on IRC?? Ive heard of lots of people transfering files there, but i never knew where to go to find people with the files im looking for.

yeah irc is good, only that it gets anoying. First, you have to wait for your turn, then you have to pray the bot doesnt leave and/or your connection doesnt die. If you dont finish the whole thing the fist time, then you are in for a great trip finding the exact same file so that you can resume instead of re-download. And if the person you downloaded from first has slightly modified the name you are screwed. You have to first wait in line to get a file only to see that the name differs, so you cancel the send rename your previous file to the new file (if their size match) and queue up again for resume... by then the new bot leaves and you look for some other bot and so the journey begins again lol. I only use IRC to get friends/simpsons/tv shows since they are 90mb it is hard for the bot to leave you before you dload

I went to those sites and searched for "Mischeif", "Destroy", and "Ghostrider", couldnt find any of the vids I want. Does that mean I cant get them off of it? or did i do something wrong?

don't use it unless you are so desperate you could hit on your mum. i'm only using it coz i can't find drift bible anywhere else.

BitTorrent isnt gay. It is gay if you dload from supernova because 3kb sux but if you get it from other places... it is good. I have downloaded plenty of things off bit torrent and I have never had problems with anything.

man shit, u must have 56k

i use suprnova every day and max out my connection at about 53kb/sec

if u have a faster connection i'm sure u'll get more off suprnova.org

btw, bittorrent is just about the best new p2p format coz it's so easy to find torrents, so easy to download, no queueing time and it's blisteringly fast (as long as there r more than 20 peers)

as I said before VLC PLAYER!!!! dload from videolan.org open the player and drag the file (any video file)

thanx, i was also having the same problem with that same file... and the larger file that you can make images with using alchohol isnt gunna be done for another day or 2. Still cant find mischeif, if u have info, plz share

You must dload BitTorrent it is a small program.

I used IRC to get Max Payne 2. Ill buy the original when I get time to go to the computer store. ITS WORTHIT!

Look here is a video, encoded with DivX 5.1 you might need to dowload that codec to see it. If that doesnt work, get VLC player from www.videolan.org that will play it with no problem!

BitTorrent is a program... search google for the download. It is not like KaZaA in the way you dont open it up to dload, but it is a peer to peer program. How it works is simple: A file (the torrent) is uploaded somewhere, it is a small small file which connects to the file for download. When you connect to it, you dload from as many people as there are connected to that one file and you upload as you dload too. Everyone is downloading and uploading at the same time to give everyone the fastest speeds possible. If you have modem, however, forget this.
