Damn!!

I was at the beach once in England, Eastbourne as far as I remember. I was reading a mag when all of a sudden I heard an extremelly loud shreak above me. I saw three 'Red Arows Gnats' storming side by side extremelly low...and upside down.

thanks for the vids, the are impressive - imagine the real sound, not the one from the computer loudspeaker 8)

I once saw a video of this airport, a starting 747 and people at the beach were blown into the sea

i live in saint maarten and watch the 747 KLM jets take off everyday from the bar at the end of the run way. people hang onto the fence at the end of the runway and when the 747 hit the gas it tosses the people into the water a good 75 feet. i've also seen those 747's blow over cars into the water because the road is only 15 feet from the end of the runway. here are some of my pics, you can see how close the road/beach is to the end of the runway http://community.webshots.com/user/dmarycz

wow..............no wonder that second of the beach is empty.

that must have been during the low tourist season because that beach is almost always packed. i can't tell you how many times i've seen people's towels, umbrellas, and even children get tossed into the ocean when those planes take off...it's hilarious.
