Well, it's a strange offer: I've got a scanned article from our local car magazine, with test drive of Porsche 996 heavily tuned by TTP. One-off car. Good pictures, but the article is in Hebrew :?
So, anyone would be interested in it?
Here it is. Sorry, it's rather long to translate in full, so I'll just drop a few details here, and more info - just ask :)
This 911 started its life as a GT3, and was modified by TTP to what they call a "GT2 replica". It has a twin-turbo engine, bigger intercooler, new pistons and lower compression rate, different injection system and a remapped ECU, new exhaust system, big oil cooler and other mods that article doesn't say.
Dyno test in Germany (where TTP comes from) show 480hp @ 6000rpm and 64kgm @ 5000rpm. That's at a boost of 0.8 bar.
At 1.2 bar figures are 560 hp and 78 kgm.
The gearbox was also changed, and the ratio of the 6th gear is 1:1 (yes, one to one). Reinforced clutch withstands up to 87 kgm of torque.
Brakes were changed to Brembo's 6 piston at front (360 mm) and 4 piston at the back (330 mm). The suspension is by H&R. Tires are 245/40 at front and 295/30 at the back.
The car sports Gemballa wing at the back and GT2 front bumper/spoiler.
The engine cooling is so effective, that during the tough test drive in summer with temperatures reaching 37 celcius in shadow, the oil was only 90 degrees hot.
Maximum speed is around 310 km/h (noone will write in a mag that theyconfirmed the max speed in Israel  )
This is so far the fastest road legal car in Israel, and I've heard that it was recently offered for sale....
Enjoy the photos :)
