Feb 2005 update:

At the Geneva Motor Show, the House of the Raging Bull will present a new design study that renews a great Lamborghini tradition.
Like the 350 GTS and the Miura Roadster before it, the Lamborghini “Concept S” is a unique car, an extreme and spectacular _expression of the Lamborghini brand.
Created at the Centro Stile Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese by Luc Donckerwolke, Head of Lamborghini Design, the “Concept S” is his extreme interpretation of an "open car“. Using the Gallardo as a basis, Donckerwolke drew inspiration from the classic single-seater racing cars of the past to create this latest design study.
The classic single-seaters did not have a traditional windscreen, but utilised the so-called "saute-vent“ (in French: a sudden change in the wind) in order to direct air over the head of the driver - and so does the “Concept S”. These devices divide the cabin into two distinct compartments, giving the car an aggressive and futuristic look and also creating a space between them that acts as an additional air inlet for the powerful engine, which is positioned behind the seats.

An electronically controlled, retractable central rear view mirror allows the driver - when required - to see what is happening behind the car.
The aerodynamics of the “Concept S” have been optimised thanks to front and rear spoilers and a large rear diffuser.

At the 75th International Geneva Motor Show, in just ten days time, the House of the Raging Bull will present a brand new design study that renews a famous Lamborghini tradition.

Concept S - The fresh air bull

The automark in the indication of the bull presents a new Design study on the autosalon in Geneva. The Lamborghini "Concept S" is to continue the tradition of the singular and extreme roadster from Sant'Agata Bolognese. The Concept Car is based on the aggressive and strong Gallardo. ( )

Already in the 60's the Italian mark built roadster, which polarized. 1965 for example the 350 GTS in the public of exciting discussions ensured. The roof was removed and the windows, the instrument panel as well as the center console was changed. Two years later the enterprise presented to the exclusive Miura roadster.
It was not only a Miura, whose roof was removed. Additionally still some details were changed. The rear louvers were removed and the angles of the wind catch changed around turbulences at speeds of up to 300 Km/h to eliminate.

Although the 350 GTS only in the prototype stage remained and roadster was sold to the only Miura to the US company ILZRO, both classical authors offer the Design collecting main for the new Lamborghini
"Concept S".
With the two a cell seats from each other defined, the study resembles more seater a classical "single". The air, which is led between the two windshields to the tail, serves for the cooling of the strong engine. For sporty aerodynamics punched spoilers were installed in front and in the back.
In addition, large air intakes in the front spoiler lend a grimmigen face expression to the "Concept S", serve for the cooling of the brakes. An electronically retractable outside mirror provides for sufficiently view to the rear.
Over the exact HP number, likewise whether the Concept Car goes at all into series, it is silent itself Lamborghini still out. But one can say one with security, which becomes "Concept S" like its predecessors, who tighten attention of the public in Geneva almost magically.

Lamborghini "Concept S" - And The WINDSHIELD?

A supercar discovered, that in place of the windshield literally it uses one solution "saute-vent" (, "jump-wind") in order protect the pilot the wind and to carry the air beyond the head of the two occupants.

It is the eclatante characteristic of the Lamborghini "Concept S", new prototype that the emiliana House (Volkswagen group) exposes to the Hall of Geneva of March. Realized on the base of the "Gallardo", the "Concept S" is one risen of two-seater from race, spectacular extreme and.

The protections anti-wind divide the nside in two zones very distinguished, creating between they the space for an additional air escape.

I have to admit, this is one fine looking car, even with it's wierd split cockpit thing...lambo has always had wierd concepts, but this one looks soooo good. I love how the bonnet looks...

Saldy I really doubt this thing will go into production thought, imagine how wierd it would be to drive that thing, also it would have horrible view of the road.

BTW...is there anything special about that white Murci along the Concept S?

I agree, it looks very nice... I think two people inside wont be that good for a conversation lol. If you are angry with your wife, what better way to say, jump on the roofless gallardo...

I'm also not too happy with this concept, but there is hope; according to the salesman at the stand the final roadster will be quite different to the COncept S ....

I'd better be. It's an interesting concept, but not necessarily in an appealing way. The rear is very ugly.
