The route was known since some months now ;)

And once again I won't be able to catch up with them.. I still have an emergency plan to fly to Monaco, but not so sure...

I hope you guys will catch up with them and will have some camera to take many pics!

start in London, then go to Brussels, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Dubrovnik, cross over to Bari in Italy, then Taormina, Palermo, Rome, and finish in Monaco for the Monaco GP.

Looking forward to this year's Gumball 3000 rally.

(btw, randomly, i opened up the link in firefox, and it redirected me to another version of the site, and i actually had a pop-up appear on the screen. first popup i think i've had on firefox.)

If I can, I'll go to Brussels!
I know they'll be passing Ghent, but that's highway. Maybe if I take post at the gasstations around here but then I have to find some other carnuts to sit at the other stations around.
If nothing terrible happens to me or my car before May, I will certainly be in Brussels when the Gumball visits it :D I hope I'll know the hotel they will be staying in (I presume they will overnight in Brussels, since Brussels-Prague is quite some trip), so I can take some good shots. Otherwise I'll have to find some gasstations near the highway to catch them (there also passing my city), like Thamar said.

sons of bitches are intentionally avoiding Slovenia!!!!

Just look at the map! They make a turn in Vienna and go around slovenia.

Maybe I'll go to croatia to see them. Damn!!!!!!!!!!

Did they publish the route this early last year? Police will be waiting for the drivers, when they already know the route. Ofcourse there is more than one road.

That's the disadvantage of publishing the route - all the coppers know where and when you'll be, and then you're dead meat. I would say make the route unknown until the last minute, but then none of the fans know, and then bye bye goes the revenue and fanbase.

There are more than one way to go on "the route" and plus finding ways to avoid the police is half the fun of it. It's not like the Gumballers can't afford the tickets when they do get them. There will be plenty of open road on this year's route for the cars to run. I can't wait to see the videos from this year's rally

Wutputt, we should make it a meeting ;)
I think some other belgian JW'rs would be interested in going to look at the cars...

Now Jabba, print some stickers and we will put'm on the cars, free advertising :p

That's a good idea! It's a nice opportunity to meet eachother and to see som hot cars, all in one go.

As for the stickers: LOL. Maybe we should have some JW members at every stop to put some stickers on the cars. At the time the cars will enter Monaco you'll only be able to see our stickers :P
