I am from Montana and they require mounted front plate. Does anyone know where to get one? Not really interested in drilling holes in front end. Car is a '97 Diablo VTR
Thanks, Dave :?: [/b]

In Slovenia, people can get a sticker that serves as a liscence plate....

check the Lotus:

I am sorry Dave, but we need to close this topic.. even if it was not posted in the "what do you drive" section, it still is an obvious claim about what you own, and on JW, to protect ourself as long as our members, you included, we require a custom shot to prove there is no bullshit involved :)

You can see the topic about this rule, here: http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?p=124881#124881

If you are really the owner of such a beauty you will understand, I am sure :) (and in that case, PM me when you have the picture)

Always great to see the genuine ones :-), that first pic RC45 posted for you is stunning 8) congrats. I can never make my mind up whether i prefer the diablo winged or wingless like Jabbas, but Lambos are certainly one car you can get away with huge spoilers on :D

Hi there, sorry I took so long to get back on this. No I am no bullshitter. I bought the car from an individual. They just don't make one. All the stuff on my web site is for real and is mine, or of me.

Sorry I took so long to answer. Yes, I flew fighters for 25 years, last 7 in F-16. Miss it badly now, airlines are OK but like flying a hotel, working on getting a MIG. Some of the pictures did really come out well, you are obviously a man with a good eye for all different things. Take care and maybe talk again.
Sincerely
Dave

Dave, have you tried displaying it in the windshield? I used to get away with it in Washington when i had my Z (looked wrong hanging it off the bumper :? )

It was required when i was there too, but no cop ever said anything to me so i figured it was good enough :bah:

I lived there from almost day 1 until i was 19 and it just felt like everyday was the same. Nothing to do, raining all the time, under 21 :? I had wanted to leave Washington since i was like 10. So when I realized what i wanted to do i knew i had 2 choices. 1) go to Renton Tech and get my Automotive training there, and end up working next to my ex's dad at Good Chevrolet ( :P not a chance in hell!) Or 2) Move to Phoenix, go to Arizona Automotive, get int one of the graduate manufacturer programs (in my case BMW) and be able to work where ever i wanted.

I knew California was out of the question (cost of living, pollution, nut jobs everywhere etc) and Oregon was still too close to home. So i decided to scatter my resumes along the East Coast. I like Louisiana for two main reasons: Food and Mardi Gras  That and no one in my family will be able to drop by un announced :P (with the exception of my aunt and uncle on whidbey, my entire family is within a 15 minute drive of each other  )

i'm under contract with y dealership for another year, and i'll probably stick around a little longer than that, but who knows where i'll go after that

In some states they will let you get away with it if you carry the front plate with you and/or display it under the windshield up front.

Here's a post I found elsewhere that talks about mounting licence plates w/o drilling holes and other discussion in this area

Incredible, thanks for the heads-up. Sorry for your sister, my sentiemnts exactly re: DC. Those Dick-Heads ought to be paying attention to something more important than front license plates, like the fact fact that somebody gets murdered there about every 36 hours. :fist: :bad-words:
Take care
