Do you guy think that Ferrari should bring back the Dino. The Dino was named after Enzo lost his son to Muscular Dystrophy. It was named so Enzos son could live on. I think Ferrari should make an entry-level car. The F430 is almost $200k not very entry level for most. I think Ferrari should make a mid-engine affordable car. Take the F430 V8 and knock two cylinders off and have a very powerful V6 pushing out 350-375 hp. Make it very light. Give it great handling cartelistic like every Ferrari. It could compete with the Porsche 911 or the new Aston Martin AMV8 at about $75k-$115k.

And no I don’t think people should think this car would hurt Ferrari “corporate image”, people should stop worrying about what other people think about the brand and make a fun and “affordable” car.

I don't think they should make a new dino, although it would be cool, I think it would remove the glory of owning a Ferrari.

HELL NO!

The entire point of a Ferrari is its in-accessibility. Ferrari is merely a dream people aspire towards. I love the fact that the "entry level" ferrari is almost $200 grand and can (almost) outperform the once-top-of-the-line F40. VERY few manufacturers are on the same level as Ferrari....

And besides, Ferrari is at the limit of its self imposed 4000 cars/year. Adding another model would only increase the demand and supply. NOT GOOD :|

Yes and no.

Yes, I think they should make a small car with maybe a V6 putting around 360-380 hp, light (around 900 or 1000 Kg) and NO electronics. AT ALL. More or less a Lotus Elise with a bigger engine. A true drivers car.

However, if they ever did that (which I doubt anyway), it should be a limited run production. Around 1500 would be good, I guess. This way they would keep the exclusivity, and at the same time this would stop the current trend of bigger and heavier cars.

No, it should not be "cheap" and acessible, and also not a "real" competitor (sales wise) of the 911 or the Aston. I'm thinking it should be kinda like a smaller supercar.

If this ever happens, it will be under the Alfa badge IMO. I don't see Ferrari doing this, but one can dream... :D

Heck yeah they should. They should bring in the din and get rid of the ugly ass 612 line.

No , there has never been an affordable ferrari , and the Dino i assume was on the price range of the f430 .

If you want an entry level ferrari get a Maserati .

Ferrari should remain the dream car it is! (unlike Porsche who've degraded themselves with their boxster)

If Ferrari wanted to make a car cheaper, they can but they dont need too. Even if they added another $50-100k to the base model they would still find the buyers...

If you want an afford a Ferrari, buy 2nd hand :D

If it were up to me I would give it a go-ahead as it would be the only Ferrari which could be relatively easily taken to the limits and hence fully exploited by an average Ferrari driver.

I would definately vote to bring back the Dino. I liked the drawing Motor Trend did a year or two ago. I would also like to point out the Dino was not an actual Ferrari as it was supposed to be its own brand. So in that case it could be built without taking anything away from Ferrari as far as accessablity any more than Maserati does.

I like the concept of a slightly more moderate ferrari - they might be able to fit one in below the new and more expensive F430. Thing is, ferrari is so busy w/ all its new projects and F1 that i can't see them doing it any time soon. and a different name than "dino" should be used, as that one is already in dedication of someone.

I think it would be pretty cool to see another dino. I wouldn't expect it though.

in Italy F430 costs 130.000 Eur.... I think that a Ferrari with a nice V6 could be interesting, in the range of 85.000 Eur.... V6 3.8 with 350-370 hp.... a great problem for 911... but probably Ferrari won't go under 130.000 ;)

And what would you expect by now? Official pic? :D

Btw, according to the Italiaspeed a V6 is just being developed by Ferrari in joint venture with Maserati and should appear by 2008...It could be intended for the Ferrari's entry model but will most likely appear onder the bonnet of a 148 GTA.

Hell no.. No No No..

No to New Dino..
No to new Ferrari entry level price or low price ferrari..
and No to SUV ferrari..

The F430 is the entry level of ferrari and I hope it stays that way.. at least it makes you work your a$$ to get it and you won't be thinking of selling it coz you worked hard to get it.. if they were cheap then the ferrari glory will seriously be in trouble.. You will see them every were.. I like the fact that they are expensive and very expensive to maintain... makes the person who owns it really speacil. But not always cool.. sometimes he is a jackass.. Not any one here you are all cool..  .
