Hey guys, I wonder if u could help me with a problem.
I've recently downloaded a whole DVD and I wanted to burn it onto a dvd-r

The problem is the following...
I've got all the IFO and VOB files, but my stupid software has a wizard, and it doesn't accept the menu files, only the video...but that's when I try and burn it as a Video DVD...
If I burn as data, will I be able to watch it with menus and everything?

I am no expert, but for ppl to help you, you should at least tell us the software you are using. afaik, the best bet is Nero wich has a "burn iso" or whatever option

It will work if you burn it as a data disc in Nero, and place the VOB and Ifo files in a folder you call video_ts... At least, that works for me..

To make a fully DVD compliant disc, you should use the "DVD-Video" template in Nero and drag the IFO+VOB files into the VIDEO_TS directory. When you burn the disc as Data DVD, most dvd players have problem playing it (it works with software dvd players like PowerDVD thou).

Alternatively, you can burn the files using ImgTool from www.coujo.de
