Ok just as the title reads how many Images do you have on Image Shack? BTW I am doing this just because I am curious thats all. :D I have currently about 1500 and still adding! :D

Are you a member on Image Shack? Like did you sign up or did you just upload your pics without signing up? You have to sign up to be able to see how many Images you have. Then just go My Images and then there will be the number of Images you have next to the page numbers I think.

If you're a registered user, you can see how many you've got..

You are way off :D for instance the 17'000 high-res images I have in the PC atm are 5.25 GB, and I am sure imageshack runs on various server (and they pack for sure hundreads of GB IMO).. anyway no, I was never contacted by them and I think there is ppl with more pics on imageshack, somewhere (I hope so :D)

I don't know how many, I have about a million different 'accounts' with them so I can continue using the batch upload feature :D It means I have alot of email addresses but bad luck....but lately I have started just uploading the pics individually again :)

maybe first they will introduce that pain-in-the-ass ads that many car pages have. You see the thumbnail, click it and then you have to wait 10 or 15 seconds watching an ad for emoticons.

sorry, wrote the wrong measure. I have an adsl with a dl speed of 256kpbs, which is aprox 26 KB/s
and my ul is 12KB/s

thats because if you have a 1MB connection its in bytes, and your actual d/l speed is given in bits. Now there are 8 bits to one byte, so at 1MB you have a theoretical max of 125kbps (1MB/8 ), but usually 10% or so is lost to overheads so you are left with about 110kbps :wink:
I have a 512K connection and I can usually download at around 53kbps, so the maths is about the same there :D

Actually a 1 MB line should men 1 Megabit, allowing you to download 125 Kilobytes per second, not the other way around, not the other way around, but it might just be too early on a Sunday morning :D You got the part saying 8 bits make 1 byte but not the rest I think :P
