Well, conclusive proof that school trips arent always that bad - just flew back troday from a short trip to CERN in Geneva - we were coming back from CERN and as the coach trip was only very short the driver decided to do an impromptue city tour. coming back to the hotel though, i nearly shit my pants when we went past this:
http://img167.exs.cx/img167/8082/genevatrip0881ye.th.jpg (http://img167.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img167&image=genevatrip0881ye.jpg)
Now one of my friends who went on the trip is a trainspotter and so is very good with maps, and mangade to guide my exactly to the plave where it had been without one wrong turning - 15 minutes walk through the back-streets of Geneva was nothing to get this! This is actually the same one TT snapped in Lausanne last year.

well, as luck would have it, Geneva's Ferrari and Maserati dealership was 100 yards from our hotel! so this little lot were an easy catch  excuse the poor quality - i had to taske these through the window as i dont imageine the ferrari dealer would have wanted a 16 year old tourist wandering around all over their cars on full display of the public!

Now this next one isnt exactly super quality, but just look at what has sneaked into shot...

I was also chuffed to bits to see my first one of these in the wild!
http://img188.exs.cx/img188/982/genevatrip085better8wx.th.jpg (http://img188.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img188&image=genevatrip085better8wx.jpg)

even nearer to the hotel was this, an early example of a 911 turbo, complete with whail tail.

i also caught these when out and about, ranging from the fairly rare to the relatively mundane

And while it isnt the real thing, im pretty sure this is exactly the same model that the JW members bought for Jabba!

Wow, I'd say that's a pretty darn good catch. Your Maybach pics totally put mine to shame. What a great school trip!

Always strange to see somebody else's pics of places I use as hunt territories :D

That 57 is around the area since some time now.. I wonder if every now and then the owner goes back to Paris ("75" beeing Paris) or if he is living here for now :D

Too bad some of the pics are blurry because of poor lightning, but for most of them, you could improve the quality quite a lot by resizing them even just to 1600x1200 and sharpening ;)

The 612 + 360 combo is great!

Awesome "school trip"! The F40 is awesome with those black wheels (what about a short trip to Geneva TT??? :D ) and the Scaglietti-Modena combo is just great! And the Maybach, and the Evo VI, and the Cayennes... even the Tamiya Enzo 1:12!!! :D They're all great!

i thank you kindly sir!

we went past the showroom on the coach on the first day when we were heading for the hotel, and i only caught a glance and just though that there was a 360 and a couple of Maseratis and the odd porsche, then we went past it the next day and i realised it was a very short distance from the hotel, so i strolled up to take a couple of pics of the 575 and the 360, looked in and there was the 612 sat in the service bay and an F40 inside! I swear, i was just standing there for a good 10 seconds, trying to come to terms with myself!

Great sightings. That 612 - 360 combo shot is superb. As we already knew thanks to TT's pics, Geneva is a great place to spot exotics. Your pics confirmed it. I can't wait for my trip to Geneva in March. My camera will be ready :)
