Just seen on my local news that 3 Noble M400 cars were stolen last night from the factory, one has since been recovered after being crashed. But surely these are nearly impossible to sell without the documents, just checked thier website, they are delivering just 200 a year of these cars, surely the remaining two can't just disappear!!

well I guess if they go overseas it possible to some degree for them to be 'lost' but for sure it cant be easy to disguise them even then if someone checks up on them..
damn thieving bastards :x

Quick bump before i go to bed finally LOL .. finally something about this on the BBC website:
Sports cars worth £150,000 stolen
Three high-performance cars worth about £150,000 have been stolen from a dealership in Leicestershire.
The vehicles - taken from Noble Automotive Limited in Barwell on Monday night - included a M400 sports car and a M12 GT sports car.
A stolen silver M12 GT02 was involved in a single vehicle collision shortly afterwards in Hinckley Road.
It is believed the two occupants of the vehicle were picked up by the driver of one of the other stolen cars.
Lee Noble, the company's managing director, said: "The stolen vehicles are unique and the offenders will have extraordinary difficulty selling them on.
He said the cars are not approved for sale elsewhere in the world, so selling them overseas "will not be easy".

There is a fine line between brains and balls...i'd say the guy that did that has a good percentage of the worlds brass deposits hanging between his legs  he must have had some damn good credit to be able to go out on a test drive in an F50 though. he probably could have bought it, either that or he was a damn good actor :P
but the guys who broke into the factory...that had to have been an inside job. i highly doubt that there was a low-tech security detail around there. :?
Interesting story. If you hear an update let us know.

no, supposedly the guy showed up all spiffy in a limo at the ferrari dealership and said dat the forgot his wallet or something like that, so the dealership went ahead and let him go out for a test drive...it was something like the salesman drove the first half of the testdrive then the guy asked if he could drive, the both got out and the mysterious guy took off as the salesman tried to get back in...news said dat they probably had a transport truck waiting around the corner or something...

They did recover the car after and it is now in the same showroom, not exactly sure how they found it, but at least it got back.

what a bloody shame. those crooks mighta been inspired by that "heist" program on brit TV - then just stole those 3 Nobles. The really bitter part is that they destroyed that one. That's awful.
