Hey,
So I am on my way home from work last night when a brand new SLR comes up next to me in the left lane. I had to close my eyes and look again just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I never expected to actually see an SLR in person, much less be driving next to one a mile from my home. It is a very long car. I know it looks longer than most cars in pictures, but you don't really get a sense of how long it is until you actually ride next to it. The exhaust note is very deceiving. It has a very deep smooth rumble. It also looks like it rides very smooth. It seemed to absorb every imperfection in the road, rather than bounce over them like other exotics i've seen.
I managed to get a rather poor picture of it with my Camera phone. Sorry about the poor quality, but it's the best I had at the time.

Unfortunetaly no. He was cruising at about 50mph and never stood on it. It has a very low rumble. Still f%$king awesome though.

great sighting, there is lots of cash in vegas, so it could belong to anyone or someone from LA/SD/SF who came into town for a couple of days

I really think the guy lives here. He pulled into a very nice gated community.

I can't see the pic and the link doesn't work for me either....

But still, from what I read, you had a blast watching the car....

I remember my first and only time seing the SLR.

A cool car, but bacame just a bit boring after a few minutes around the car. I don't realy know, why I wasn't impressed. Maybe I ate something bad that day....
