Yes, like I wrote about FXX, Elite models are overpriced but new versions like 599 are a bit better, still not stunning thought. New F430 Challenge however looks good detailed, for example it has no dog-legs which is great, also the interior looks much better than other Elite models.

BTW Momodels, I'm planning to join the 1:12 club with the F40... and I was wondering which is the best one - the Kyosho or the Tamiya... if there's any. I've seen the Kyosho, and it looks stunning... and I remember you also mentioned is the best one :D

F40 is made only by Kyosho, Tamiya were F50 and Enzo which is these days also made by Kyosho. But anyway Kyosho is the best choice :wink:

The Porsche 997 turbo cabrio from Norev looks good for his price, but the quality is not AUTOart standard. It's the main reason which makes me hesitate to buy now a black Porsche 997 GT2 from Norev...but I'm sure if AUTOart will not sell the 997 GT2, I will surely buy the Norev. :P


I have a question for your "Momodels the JW diecast expert": I have a friend who has bought a green Porsche 997 GT3 RS green from AUTOart, after I watched is model I noticed the Porsche Crest badge on the hood is missing. 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 LM Street Version

Based on Maisto, I just put down decals, added number plates, a bit painted details around the windows and airvents. The real car has chassis number 001 and from what I have heard it was only one ever made. The others were race versions.
